The APEX2 is based on the RG series body. It features a mahogany body mated to a maple and wenge neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with an APEX inlay on the 12th fret. Components include dual DiMarzio PAF 7 humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge. The APEX2 is essentially a mass-market version of the flagship APEX1. The primary difference between the two is the bridge.
