The darro tree was a plant lifeform that could be found in the garden of Starfleet Academy on planet Earth. The darro blossoms smelled of butterscotch, vanilla, and a hint of cinnamon. When Admiral McAteer plucked one blossom off the tree, Boothby scolded him for doing so. (STA novel: Gauntlet)
