The stooges are in a frontier town running a crooked gambling game. They are caught cheating when Larry used a horseshoe magnet hidden in his shoe and have to get out of here. While they are in the woods, they are discovered by the local sheriff and flee into Pierre's cabin home to an evil tough woodcutter named Pierre. They pretend to dress up as Indians and are able to fool the sheriff. They return to the town, where Pierre falls for Curly who's dressed up like a female Indian and takes him/ her as his wife. When he learns that she is a "he", the stooges have to make a run for it.
