It was leaked on 2006-08-28, shortly after the closure of the original OSBetaArchive, and was labeled a farewell release. This build is highly unstable, which was sadly typical of most "Longhorn" builds. This is the first and only Milestone 9 build. It was the last pre-reset "Longhorn" build to be leaked, and one of the last to be compiled. This build cannot be booted up normally; this can be done using build 4033's Preinstallation Environment.
