The Barony of White Springs was a Manticoran peerage. The Baroness of White Springs was one of the more vocal voices of the Independents in the House of Lords. When Crown Prince Michael Winton was transferred to the light cruiser HMS Intransigent for his midshipman cruise, the Baroness arranged for her daughter's middy cruise to be served on the same ship, in order for her daughter to gain prestige.
