A social worker named Penny visited Moira Dingle after she left her newborn son Isaac at Hotten General Hospital in October 2017. Moira and her mother-in-law Faith lied to the social worker that Moira had just nipped out to the car park and was so exhausted that she feel asleep which the social worker seemed to believe. Moira truthfully revealed that she had lost her daughter Holly last year so she was scared of losing her son too. The social worker assured Moira that she wasn't there to take her baby off her and planned to visit Moira gain in a few weeks.
