The scence shows Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi playing tennis with each other. After playing for a while, it switches to Mario and Bowser facing off in a one on one match. Bowser is about to hit back the ball when a pinball comes out of nowhere and hits him. The screen quickly switches to a mechanical Waluigi, which is laughing. It then shows several other matches, all on different courts with different gimmicks. The screen then shows Mario hitting the ball to someone, then having knocked right past him. Mario looks over to him to see a newcomer: Boom Boom.
