Mark Stafford is a man who put Nick Peyton at the crime scene concerning Nick's dead father, Yale Peyton. It was later revealed that Stafford had a strong grudge against Nick who he believed had gotten Stafford's daughter, Megan into drugs which eventually resulted in her death dying after overdosing on some unidentified drugs. As a result, Stafford also strongly believed that Nick should have gone to jail but despite this, he was later found innocent and released without charge.
