The World Ecology Bureau was a global environmental organisation based in England, headed by Sir Colin Thackeray. When a scientific expedition in Antarctica informed the Bureau of their discovery of a Krynoid pod, Sir Colin summoned the Fourth Doctor to investigate. Bureau employee Richard Dunbar sold information about the pod to Harrison Chase. (TV: The Seeds of Doom)
