The Devaronian edge was an enhanced melee weapon edge that had been augmented by the addition of Devaronian blood-poison particles. The absorption of these particles into the bloodstream caused a great deal of pain in the victim, allowing for a greater chance for critical damage. This edge had been available in several versions ranging from mild to deadly, depending on the potency of the applied particles.
