Amadak was a central character in the Aquilan novel known as Amadak The Reluctant Warrior, which reached cult status among the youth. In the book, Amadak was a lone outlaw in the harvesting season of '17 who performed selfless/savage acts of bravery. In the story, Amadak allies with an army from the lower class to overthrow a butcher who ruled their land.
