Boost Bars were a brand of energy bars that was distributed in Sunnydale by Xander Harris in 2000. They came in the flavours: Cherry-berry, maple walnut and almond licorice. While Xander assured that boost bars didn't taste bland or bitter due to the fact they contained fatty-content, Rupert Giles was immediately put off after taking a bite of the maple walnut, though Xander just assumed Giles was more of a "cherry-berry fellow".
