Stormbrow was the first centaur to be darkened. He was first seen guarding the way into Kurisock's domain. Stormbrow was then healed when the pebble came into contact with the nail. In book five Stormbrow was one of the centaurs to confront Seth when he came out of the leprechaun's cave. Vanessa shot the centaurs with sleeping darts and bit them. Bracken later healed most of the centaurs of Vanesa's connection, but left Cloudwing and Stormbrow able to be controlled by Vanessa.
