Marie Marcado is a lucky woman, although, as "Heroes and Villains" runs up the curtain, she probably doesn't feel so. Marie was in an alley and trapped by a borderline psychotic with rape on his, for want of a better word, mind. This tableau, however, has its dynamic graphically altered by the addition of a third figure, one in a mask and garish costume, and bearing a sword. A slice of time later, Marie is giving her statement to Beckett and Castle, the latter of whom shows what must be an unnerving degree of relish at the thought that a masked crusader was involved.
