Admiral Logan Shield was a UNSC officer and Kobol 's Superior and supervisor of the ONI National Division. He commands both the Kobol Home Fleet and the Orbital Defenses on Kobol. He was stationed in the Aquino Oribital Defense Platform at the time on March 1,2552 when Wolf Six sents in two SPARTAN-III commandos. Logan Shield was suppose to be promoted to Fleet Admiral, but his actions in the Battle of Sector G178 remained in his mind. Though, his honorable actions resumed to a good reputation when he continued his superior tactics to his fleet and was later ordered by ONI to be stationed at Kobol.
