Bakura Kappa was an XQ3 Platform constructed by a faction of the Imperial Remnant known as the Dark Order of Korr. The station orbited the Outer Rim planet of Bakura and was used for general traffic control and security purposes. In case of pirate attack, the station held two squadrons of TIE Fighters and one squadron of TIE Oppressors. Most of its crew was killed in the Second Battle of Bakura and the station itself was heavily damaged. Because Bakura's surface was destroyed later in the battle, the station was abandoned.
