Cid of the Lufaine is the narrator of Dissidia: Final Fantasy and adoptive father of Chaos. In the original Final Fantasy, he is an ancient Lufenian who created the airship used by the Warriors of Light. Cid of the Lufaine is voiced by Bunta Sugawara in the Japanese version. Although Cid of the Lufaine does not make any appearance in the game, his voice is heard while speaking with Cosmos, talking about the war, once the player has unlocked all Cosmos and Chaos Reports.
