The Armory and Barracks compose two wings of a single L-shaped building, situated in the southwest corner of the Mage's Academy's Outer Ward. A contingent of Talon guards occupies the lower, western section and entire upper floor of this two storey building, providing armed protection and security, though it is hardly needed. The building contains their bunkrooms, bathing facilities, mess hall and kitchen, and officers quarters. The first-floor southern section of the building is the Armory.
