Rose started in theater at the age of five, in a community production of the musical Annie, in which she played Molly, and later played Gretl in the Sound of Music at Poway Performing Arts. For the next three years, she played a "Who" in The Grinch Who Stole Christmas at the Old Globe under the direction of Jack O'Brien. After Grinch, she went on to three years at The American Girl Revue Theater in Los Angeles, playing the American Girl doll Molly. She also started doing voice-overs for film, TV, and radio.
