Prem Sumarag Granth (the true way to love) is an anonymous work in old Punjabi evoking a model of Sikh way of life and of Sikh society. It is said that the writer is Guru Gobind Singh, but the Anti-Muslim and Anti-women writings in it prove that Guru Gobind Singh, in no way could have written this Granth. Written probably in the eighteenth century, it is a kind of rahitnama attempting to prescribe norms of behaviour, religious as well as social, private as well as public, for members of the Khalsa Panth.
