The IMI Tavor TAR-21 is a relatively new assault rifle, designed by IMI to replace the Galil, M16A1 and CAR-15 assault rifles. The Tavor was created to be an extremely reliable assault rifle for use in urban environments. It was ambitiously named as TAR-21 - "Tavor Assault rifle for 21 century".
