Max Schaefer is a founder and executive producer at Flagship Studios. Schaeffer is the former founder of Blizzard North, and was the lead designer for their successful Diablo 2 and its expansion, Lord of Destruction. Schaeffer's prerogative on game development is to craft games that he would enjoy playing, rather than giving much regard for focus groups or marketing opinion.
