A small boy named Rakutaro is found to be stealing panties in the girls' locker room. He appears next to Happosai and becomes his disciple with the claim that his great grandfather Rakkyosai requested it of his old friend Happosai. Ranma begins suspecting him to be more than just a child due in part to his speech and his masterful calligraphy.
