The Power Miners are a team of humans who were sent down underground in mining machines to investigate lots of earthquakes happening. Duke soon discovered the Rock Monsters and the crystals. They also discovered that the Rock Monsters were causing the earthquakes by eating the crystals, so now the Power Miners have descided that they must collect as much crystals as possible to keep them from the monsters.
