The Mordagon-class Battleship was the largest member of the N-line, a series of next-generation combat ships named after planets ending with -n. The Mordagon-class itself was named after the Expansion Region planet of Mordagon, home of the Mordageen species. The Mordagon-class was the spiritual successor of the Clone Wars-era Providence-class Carrier/Destroyers.
