The Imperius Ravagers, known also as the 'Headsmen of Charopós', are a 4th Founding Successor Chapter of the honourable Ultramarines, created in the wake of the dark times of the event known as 'The Beheading', when the Grand Master of Assassins, Drakan Vangorich, deployed his elite assassins of the Officio Assassinorum, and the High Lords of Terra were slain to a man. Afterwords the Imperium descended into a period of anarchy. When order was eventually restored nearly a century later through the direct intervention of the Adeptus Astartes, a new set of High Lords of Terra were quickly elected and order was restored at the heart of the Imperium.
