Zhang Te, Zichan (子產), was a military general of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history. Zhang became a rather reputed general through his defense of Xincheng, Hefei. When the castle was completely surrounded by the forces of the rival state of Eastern Wu, Zhang faked his surrender and continuously resisted until the enemy finally ended up retreating.
