The Warlock-class Missile Cruiser was a second-generation cruiser in service with the Navy of the Black Star Confederacy from 13 ABY. The Uul'Ba-Rai proved that a new generation of weapons was needed. At the top of the list of requirements for these new weapons was greater range. With this in mind, Killian Shipyards constructed the Warlock-class Missile Cruiser. The Warlock's offensive armament was a battery of six stand-off missile tubes. These multipurpose weapons could fire a variety of destructive payloads. Its defensive armament was 25 quad laser cannons and 1600 SBD of backup shields. The Warlock's ammunition load of 72 missiles (72 concussion) made it ideally suited to firing vicious initial bombardments.
