Ellicott was the small moon that orbited Advan, it orbited stationary with the moon Montovak. It was sandy and cold, the surface was covered in rocks, craters, ragged mountains, and a atmosphere made of carbon dioxide. It was the brightest moon, thanks to its composition of iron, carbon, and sulfur. It was never colonized. It could reach temperatures of -110F. It was presumed to have had a cooled iron core, and a middle section made of cooled rock. The surface was made of usually 2–15-foot-deep water that was frozen over a sandy sea floor, and higher areas were dry and rocky. The several areas of frozen water were referred to as "seas," like on inhabited temperate planets. There were five large ones, and 16 smaller ones.
