The Pokémon Wind Cup is an anime-exclusive tournament held tri-annually between Flying-type Pokémon Trainers. Trainers from all over the Pokémon world come to the Windy City in the Sky in the Hoenn region, not far from Fortree City, to battle for the Wind Cup trophy, or to see other Trainers do their battles from the stands.
