Katharine Janek was a Starfleet officer active in the 23rd century. Janek met Carolyn Adiwoso at Starfleet Academy. Other midshipmen in the same set were Susanna Nyere, Shiras, and Connor Leslie. Janek was gamma-shift helm officer on USS Accord during that ship's first five-year mission.
