This S370 was sold in Europe and the USA. An earlier model with the same name was produced and sold only in Japan. This S370 was offered in 2001 with a Wizard III neck, Ibanez Axis pickups and a TRS-101 tremolo bridge. These components were changed for 2002 to a Wizard II neck, Ibanez Powersound pickups and an ILT1 tremolo. Features common across both years include a sculpted mahogany body, a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with special "S wave" position markers and a locking nut. The S370 was replaced for 2003 by the S470 with the new ZR tremolo.
