Tkallsi was a large inhabited tropical planet in the Tkallsi Major system. The planet, headquarters of the Hrathan Alliance and home base to the 1st Alliance Fleet, was covered 75% by water and 24% by land, the other 1% being ice on the polar caps. Tkallsi's population was nearly 15 billion during its tenure as capital of the Hrathan Alliance. Natives to Tkallsi were called Tkallsian, even though Tkallsians were actually humans. The Tkallsi (the populace's name in general) were honored warship and weapon designers and heavy supporters of the New Republic throughout their fight against the New Galactic Empire.
