Darnell Hicks (b. 1989) is a drug dealer, a resident of Rodia Gardens in Watts, Los Angeles, and a member of the Crips. In May of 2009, he extorted $50 from Jack McEvoy when the reporter visited the Gardens. Shortly after he was arrested in a drug raid on the neighborhood. In early 2010, he was shot during a drug deal by Cassius Montgomery, and wound up in a wheelchair.
