For an elemental based combat shunshin, one will travel towards an opponent at half their normal speed. With that, they can still rush towards an opponent at a greater speed however make sure to note you will get stamina drains for going half speed and the secondary speed that you go at (even if it is the same speed). The main factor against this type of shunshin, is the damage that is taken for using an elemental based shunshin.
