Standard is a classification of cars from Gran Turismo 5 to denote the level to which it has been designed, and how damage will be processed. In Gran Turismo 6, Standard cars were known as Simple, with a few exceptions (The Audi R8 Race Car '01 and Toyota 7 Race Car '70, both Standard cars, were known as Detailed).
