The department is one of the largest and relies upon the statue of secrecy placed down in the Ministry of Magic since it's conception. Working with the other international Ministries of Magic, they conduct both the testing and the approval for all ways of magical transport in the United Kingdom. From the regulation of broom standards to the acceptance and record keeping of the current portkeys active in the United Kingdom, each member of the Department is well versed and has the authority to be able to remove any version of magical transport and authorise the other departments to become involved. Working closely with the other Deparments to ensure that the magical and muggle participants are safe as well as the secrecy being maintained.
