"Purklied (Purk Song)" is Purk's signature song from Sesamstraat. The lyrics mostly consist of her own gibberish, mixed with some of her grownup friends' names. Purk sang her song for the first time in 2003, shortly after her debut appearance. It was also sung by the entire cast (featuring Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster and Elmo) as a finale number in the special Open Huis in Sesamstraat. In an episode from 2006, Pino revealed that this was Purk's favorite song that she always sings along to, which makes it easy to find her when she is hiding.
