Stella Grundy appeared on Coronation Street as a Woman in attendance at Hayley Cropper's literary class, conducted at Weatherfield Outreach Centre in November 2006. The former frontwoman for indie band "Intastella", she has also been credited on the big screen for roles in Poor Wee Mee and The Violators, as well as a 2000 documentary entitled The Alcohol Years. As a playwright, her production of The Rise and Fall of a Northern Star toured around northern cities within the UK in October 2014.
