Zvegin was a Russian man who knew how to speak both Russian and English. He works as the adjutant for Markov. Since Markov didn't know any English, he was meant to act as a translator for the scientific group. He accompanied Jenny and Hemple in a car, when an angered Ankylosaurus attacked them, severely damaging the car. Hemple got stuck, and Jenny had to free him. The driver of the truck was killed. However, Zvegin and his guard both survived, and then they escaped, ignoring the trapped Hemple and Jenny. (Extinction Event).
