Adam complains that he doesn't like his school. Mike decides to do something about it and makes arrangements for him to attend Oakhill School which is a local private school. Mike is put out when Adam shows little enthusiasm as he was hoping to be sent back to the private school he went to in Glasgow but as a boarder. The cleaner at the Medical Centre doesn't show up for work. Matt has to do the cleaning himself as Molly refuses. They offer the cleaning job to Edna. Dev tells Deirdre that he will be late home as there is a crisis at the Swinton shop. David helps Sam clean his car ready for its MOT.
