Based upon the Galatech Fury Tank, the Mark 5 Medium Tank was both faster and more heavily armoured than its ancestor. Armed with an heavy laser cannon, and a missile pack with 60 anti-tank missiles and 60 anti-personnel missiles, the Mark 5 was well equipped to engage any opponent. Until 17 ABY, it was armed with an Extended Range Particle Projection Cannon (ER PPC), and a SRM-2 missile launcher.
