The Imperial Media Bureau was an organization responsible for disseminating propaganda to the populace of the Empire. It was the result of the imperialization of the Republic Media Bureau. While the RMB allowed programmes and writings from both sides to be shown, the IMB took full control of the Empire's media. The bureau had its own police force to arrest anyone who disagreed with propaganda and attempted to smuggle banned writings into Imperial space.
