Having been a beauty contestant she joined Legs and Co. at the age of 17 in 1976 on BBC TV's Top of the Pops. She also acted by appearing in the TV series Minder in 1980, but when Legs and Co left Top of the Pops in 1981 she continued to be with them until 1982 when she left to get married.
