USS Jamestown (NCC-1843-A) was an Excelsior-class battleship on active duty in Starfleet from 2282 to 2294. It was the sixth spacecraft to bear the name. Jamestown's commanding officer from 2293-94 was Captain John Cantwell. The ship was deployed to the Starfleet First Fleet for 12 years until it was also lost in a black hole near the Gamma Coronis system. (Starfleet International: USS Jamestown)
