Faced with the intense sandstorm of Route 4, White decides to buy gear to enable them to travel through it. As Black waits for her to return, a card game played by nearby construction workers and a dealer catches his eye. Black and the dealer go outside and play a game of predicting where a Drilbur will surface. When someone who appears to be a construction worker gets caught in the tunnels Drilbur has dug, the dealer attacks him and reveals him as a disguised Team Plasma member. Conflicted, Black looks down at his badges.
