Davids Lane was a mixed-rise housing estate located in Basford, Nottingham. They are often just refered to as "The Basford Flats". Construction began in 1967 and was completed in May 1971. The flats were system-built and from the outset suffered from problems such as terrible humidity, water penetration and, as a result, high heating costs.
