The Sekissledovacheskie, or Sektor issledovaniya zhivyh Mehanicheskie lits (Sector For Study Of Sentient Mechanical Entities), was the Soviet equivalent of Sector Seven. Despite the collapse of the USSR in the early 90s, the Sekissledovacheskie remained in operation through at least late 2010 under Democratic Russia.
