[Source] The power lash, also known as the energy lash or force whip, was an Imperial weapon used by the keepers of Wookiee slaves. It was used in a whip-like manner and had variable charge settings. The tip was sizzling green and would cause extreme pain across the skin of its victims. One notable victim was Chewbacca when he was captured and put to slave labor by Admiral Daala aboard the Star Destroyer Gorgon in 11 ABY.
