In the early days of Edron's existence, Kaine was Daniel Steelsoul's second in command. His main objective was to make Edron from a little settlement into a flourishing metropolis. He was supplied forced labourers by Edron's ruler King Tibianus, but not long afterwards he mysteriously disappeared, and so did the slaves. Later, it was found out he had freed all of them and had started a sinister cult in the cave now known as the Hero Cave, together with priestess Agaltha and their followers. Nowadays, it is rumoured that he still lurks somewhere down there, in that very same cave...
